There are only 2 days left in the campaign, and just ONE more stretch goal to reach! Lets push for this last goal in the next 48 hours and get everything unlocked!

Right now, we are at around $5,490 in funding, which means the Bagel Bugs are funded! If you've been holding out for this duo, they are now available~

This means there is just one more stretch goal to hit: The Boston Cream Doughnut Spider at $5,750! We are so close already, and I have no doubt we'll smash this last goal before the end of the campaign on Thursday :)



I want to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me so far- we really couldn't have done this without your support, engagement, and ideas! I am absolutely elated to be able to bring not just my ideas to life, but take your suggestions and make them a reality too.

The campaign will end in just 48 hours, but what happens after that? As soon as the campaign ends, I'll be able to start working on the survey! This is where you'll tell me which pin and sticker designs you want, and I'll be able to see how many of each design to order. There will also be a few bonus items in the survey, like previous campaign goodies, extra stickers (from my Candy Bugs Collection), and possibly one or two bonus goals that will fund if we have the support for them! I plan on sending out surveys in about two weeks, so please keep an eye out for those at the end of February and answer them as soon as you can so I know how much to order :)

Once all the surveys are done and filled out, I'll place a big order with my pin manufacturer and order stickers, and we'll have to wait about a 5-7 weeks for those to come to me, where me and my elite team of artists (myself and a friend or two) will count, sort, and quality check everything. I'll also be taking time to design some cute packaging for this project, including backer cards for individual pins as well as for groups/ sets! Designing the packaging is one of my favorite parts of these projects, since it makes all the designs come together and makes for a more fun unboxing for all of you :)

If you missed the campaign, I will have any extras and leftovers available on my Etsy shop! Once all the pledges have been packed and are on their way to their new homes, I'll be taking stock of what's left over and adding them to my usual shop so anyone who missed the campaign or wants to order more from the Beetle Bakery will be able to do so. However, if you baked the campaign, I will also give you an exclusive discount code for my shop so you can get these items at the campaign price!

Once these pins, stickers, and sticker sheets are on Etsy, the price will go up slightly, so if you can, pledge to the campaign for a discount and help us reach our last goal <3

We're just 7 days til the end of the campaign, so I wanted to give a little update and share which designs have been unlocked and which goals we still have left to fund-

Here's all the pins that are available right now!



We've already unlocked 18 pin designs, including a Mystery Pin Bag, two pin sets (Macron Beetles and Cookie Ants), and a FREE mini pin for everyone who pledges for 4 or more pins! Of course, we also have several sticker sheets available, a sticker set (Bread Beetle, Pretzel Worm, and Croissant-opod), and a handful of other individual stickers :)

As of writing this, we're sitting at about $5,000 in funding, which means there are two new sticker sheets available (the Frosted Bug Cookies sheet and a Bread Bugs sheet, which is still a work in progress) are unlocked, and we have just two more pin goals to reach!

At $5,400 we will unlock two new friends, the Cream Cheese Bagel Bug and Everything Bagel Bug!



And unlocking at $5,750 is the last goal (unless I decide to add more in the survey) the Boston Cream Doughnut spider!



By popular request, I'm also adding a keychain add-on tier! There will be two versions, one for the Frosted Bug Cookies shaker keychain (which has already been made, but I want to order more so this will gauge how popular they are!) and a regular acrylic keychain tier featuring designs from my previous food collection, Candy Bugs.

Bit of a smaller update today, but I have just added two new stretch goals to the campaign, and I want to update you all about where we're at funding wise.

As of writing this, we're sitting around $4,850 in total funds, which means we are funded all the way through the Maple Log Millipede pin! There's still 10 days left in the campaign, so we have plenty more time to get a couple more goals unlocked too :)

First, unlocking at $5,500 is the Bagel Bug Duo-



After polls both here and on Instagram, it looks like you guys really liked the Cream Cheese and Everything Bagel Bugs, but didn't like the Plain Bagel design as much, so I'm just adding the first two designs. I think I will add the Plain Bagel as a stretch goal in the survey however, so if there's enough interest in the design I can still make it!

Next, at $5,800 we will unlock the Boston Cream Spider Doughnut!



Originally this goal was also going to include a Jelly Doughnut colorway as well, but I'm struggling with the design so I'm going to hold off on adding that one for now. Again I might include the Jelly Doughnut version in the survey to gauge how popular it is, so it might still get made.

These goals may seem far away right now, but we still have a little more than 10 days to unlock these. And if we still haven't hit these goals by the time the campaign ends on February 12th, I'll make them available as bonus goals in the survey!

I just gotta say- WOW! As of writing this, we've hit $4,400! This means the Challah Centipede, Sandwich Cookie Beetle, and Icecream Sandwich Beetle are all unlocked!

I've been hard at work baking and frosting some new bugs, and I am thrilled to introduce you to them:

First, I'm adding a mini filler pin to the campaign! This little guy will be free to anyone who pledges for 4 or more standard size pins- and its already less than $200 away from unlocking! These mini pins are just 1 inch big, and will be made with dyed metal and just two colors of soft enamel.

Last on the list today is a little interest check- I've seen a few comments that I make more savory items like bagels, so I thought: what would be more fun than a big round bagel with stubby little legs? And of course you can't have just one kind of bagel, so I designed three:



I'm a little on the fence with this design, especially since I can't choose just one to add to the campaign! If you like these designs, please let me know! I'll attach another poll to this update to see how everyone feels about them, but I would also like to encourage you to give your feedback through comments! It's been less than a week on this project so far, but there have been so many good ideas and positive feedback already and I couldn't be happier with this little community we've created :)
